overnight Motorcycle Parking.
Our advertisers offer a variety of overnight parking, from Garaged
Facilities, Locked Yards or Car Parks, Secure Private Car Parks, CCTV. Those who
do not offer locked or undercover facilities ensure parking is away from the
view of the main roads or at the rear of the accommodation.
History of Bike Stay
Bike-Stay is owned and managed by Hartside.com,
we have been in operation since 2001.
Hartside.com website was launched in October
2001 as an information and community site for UK Motorcyclists, The
accommodation directory was added as an additional service, which has now
grown to such an extent that it is a site in its own right!
www.bike-stay.co.uk
Bike-Stay UK Online Accommodation Directory, was
launched in November 2001, and officially launched in January 2002 as part of Hartside.com. Initially covering a small area of Northern England
over Northumberland and Cumbria (and more importantly covering Hartside Pass!),
the popularity of the directory meant that over 2002, we expanded our coverage
by request of our site users to the whole of England, Wales and Scotland by the
end of that year.
Throughout 2003, we expanded our coverage to Ireland,
not only for British Motorcyclists, but also for Irish Motorcyclists touring
their own stunning Green Isles.

The Biker Friendly Accommodation Directory at
Hartside.com was moved and re-branded as Bike Stay under
www.Bike-stay.net in March 31st 2004,
This also saw our Motorcycle Friendly Touring
Directory branch out to Europe. Covering Europe had long been on the cards,
and was something which our British users had been asking for a long time. Initially we covered France, Spain, Netherlands and Belgium. The response from
our French Advertisers in the first month was outstanding, thereafter we began
coverage of Portugal and Italy.
The choice for advertisers to publish accommodation
details in multi languages means that we are not only catering for the British
Motorcyclist, but also to French, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese speaking
Motorcyclists.

Hartside.com
Bike Stay is published by Hartside.com. Hartside.com was built as a meeting
point for motorcyclists online, named after the infamous 'real' motorcycle
meeting point at Hartside Pass.
What started out as a hobby bizarrely grew into an all consuming business.
With numerous support from friends and family and a lot of hard work and too
many late nights Hartside.com is growing every day. With spin off sites Bike
Stay and Bike UK growing just as fast, we are sharing our own passion for
motorcycles with others.
