Birdwood Cottage is a delightful Old World two
bedroom self contained cottage built in the 1930's and set
in a lovely garden.
We are rated a ***1/2 star accommodation
by the AAAT of Australia. The cottage is only 1.5k from the
main street of Healesville with it's many cafe's, antique &
op shops. Wineries race tracks and markets are only minutes
away, and the Healesvile Sanctuary is close by.
The Lilac bedroom has a Colonial style
queen size bed and the Burgundy room has a period brass bed
with modern mattress. Both have electric blankets and comfy
doona. There are spare blankets available.
Fresh linen & towels are supplied.
In the bathroom you will find a twin spa bath and seperate
twin shower, hairdryer & toiletries are provided.
In the lounge dining room you can sit in front of the wood
fire in winter or use the reverse cycle air conditioner to
watch tv or play DVD's or VCR"s or just relax & listen to
the radio.
A Continental style breakfast is supplied,
but the quaint old kitchen has all the modern amenities for
those who wish to cook for themselves. It is equipped with a
fridge, microwave, cooker & all the other utensils you need.
Iron & Ironing board available. There is also a BBQ if you
wish to enjoy the outdoors in the garden.
There is safe out of sight off street
parking.
