The historic Royal Mail Hotel
is situated in the main street of Meekatharra, 720 kilometres north
of Perth. The recently purchased and refurbished family run hotel
provides comfortable and affordable en-suite rooms, complete with
there own toilet/shower TV, fridge, air conditioners, telephone, tea
and coffee making facilities. The yester-year hotel, established in
1889, houses a popular bar filled with local history, with friendly
staff and locals alike in a casual environment.
An excellent air conditioned/heated restaurant and bistro are
available, and you will be guaranteed to be served the best food in
town.
Each room has parking outside your door in a parking area that is
securely locked each night. Guests are provided individual keys to
these gates. An enormous alarmed garage is also available for those
who require, this shed is locked at night and also houses the owners
motorcycles.
Rooms range from $75.00 single, $90.00 double, $115.00 family.
Refurbished Budget/Backpacker accommodation will be completed later
in 2005.
