Absolutly fabulous!!! No other way to describe our stay at Petit Illyria. secure garage parking for our bike, selves for helmets, hangers for leathers, waterproofs etc and - THE FOOD!!! Not one but two chefs catering to our every need. After a great day out on quiet un-potholed roads what better way to relax than a nice glass of red and an absolutly super meal. We were made to feel very special.

Six of us booked in at Petit Illyria. We didnt book an evening meal on the night of arrival as we weren't sure how long it would take us to travel from Cherbourg. However, nothing was too much trouble for Jean and Gary who made us a meal. The rooms were lovely, garden beautiful, food scrumptious, excellent hosts, good parking arrangements inside. We were even able to wash our bikes. Would have no hesitation in

This is a really good accomodation, if you like excellent food and a friendly place this is it. The bikes are safe in the owners garage, the area is close for the Normandy beaches and places such as Bayeux. Jean and Gary the owners are not bikers but very bike friendly, they are also classicly trained chefs so the food is really good. They are also English so language not a problem

We found 2009 tourist food and drink prices exhorbitant. Small coffee or 500ml coke in a bar often over 4 euros each. We discovered the evening meal at Petit-Illyria superb value. ie 5 gourmet courses and drink top ups for the price of just 2 mediocre plates elsewhere.Go for it - you will not be disappointed!

No establishment we have ever stayed in over the past 30 odd years has come close to offering the combination of courtesy, service or cuisine provided by Gary & Jean. The bike was snug for the night in a locked garage that can take 7 to 11 bikes depending on size. Gary pointed out the best biking roads in the area. The "main" road outside is very quiet at night.

Without doubt the warmest welcome and best food in France. This was a return visit and would recommend to anyone. Secure parking with no gravel. Great value for money, will return.
