Age limit

Minimum age for riding a motorcycle on a UK licence is 18 years of age.

Crash Helmets

Compulsory for both driver and passenger.

Drinking

Alcohol - 0.05 limit.

Fines

On the spot fines.

Fuel

Leaded and Unleaded petrol available.

Lights

Dipped lights are compulsory day and night for motorcycles. It is compulsory for visitors to equip their vehicle with a set of replacement bulbs.

Motorcycle Insurance

3rd party compulsory.

Speed Limits

Unless otherwise signposted. In built up areas 24mph (40km/h), other areas between 37mph (60km/h) and 55mph (90k/h).
