If you do not wish to spend the bulk of your trip riding to
your destination, but instead wish to spend your holiday exploring your
destination, You may also consider taking your motorcycle on a train. This can
benefit as it will save your tyres for the main touring part of your holiday.
Motorail or Auto-Train, trains run from Paris, France (and
also from Düsseldorf, Germany and s'Hertogenbosch, Netherlands). From Paris you
can travel to Nice, Geneva, Avignon, Biarritz, Marseille, Tarbes, Narbonne, St
Raphael, Toulon or Toulouse. Making it a shorter ride to Andorra.
These trains to transport motorcycles can be booked by telephone at Rail Europe
offices in the UK and in France.
It can take around 12-15 hours to travel from
Northern France to Andorra, so an overnight stop is recommended if you are
travelling down the country. It is well worth the ride, Andorra is such a
beautiful country with some superb roads.
