Accommodation

Motorcycle Friendly Accommodation in Denmark

Age limit

Minimum age for riding a motorcycle on a UK licence is 18 years of age.

Alcohol

0.25 milligrams of alcohol per millilitre of blood. This is much lower than in the UK (0.8) or France (0.5).

Crash Helmets

Compulsory for both driver and passenger.

Documents

You should carry your Driving licence, vehicle registration document (V5) & certificate of motor insurance. If you do not have a photo licence, carry your passport as well. If the motorcycle you are riding is not registered in your name you must carry a letter from the registered owner giving you permission to ride the bike.

Fines

On the spot fines.

Fuel

Leaded and Unleaded petrol available.

Lights

Dipped lights are compulsory day and night for motorcycles. Headlights must be adjusted for right-hand traffic.

Motorcycle Insurance

3rd party compulsory.

Trailers

Motorcycles can tow a trailer or trailer device, mopeds can not.
