Hordatun Hotel is located in Røldal, along the E134 over Haukelifjell in Odda
municipality - situated between the village and ski center. Røldal is known for
it's large amounts of snow with "the deepest snow in Europe" as the brand name.
It is therefore a favorite place for those who love winter. But also in summer
and autumn, the mountains are beautiful and invites to exploration. Røldal Stave
Church is one of Norway's 28 stave churches and well worth a visit.
Our restaurant is open all year, in addition, the bar offers live music in the
winter season weekends. There has been a hotel on Hordatun since 1920 but
today's hotel opened in the new building January 2009.
Indoor parking garage at the hotel facility, one parking spot per room -
separate lockable storage room accessible at each parking space. Free wireless
internet throughout the facility. The complex has a reception, lobby bar,

The hotel has spacious rooms, minimum 30kvm. All rooms have balconies, most with
views of the Røldal lake. The rooms include a bathroom, TV, sofa, dining table,
coffee maker, refrigerator etc.
Many of the rooms are suitable for 3-6 persons, we also have apartments for
rental with 2-3 bedrooms suited for groups of 3-8 persons.
