La Lune is a beautiful
Bed and Breakfast just west of Le Mans in the Pays de la Loire. Our
Chambre d’hotes (B&B) is biker and family friendly with secure car
parking and undercover parking for motor bikes.
Our above ground pool
is next to the orchard and is perfect for cooling off after a day out,
and the covered terrace is ideal for dining alfresco or just to relax
under with a nice cold glass of wine or beer. If you enjoy fishing, our
1 acre lake is adorned by beautiful willows and is fully stocked with
carp, bream, tench and perch, Chris will lend you a rod if you would
like to try and catch the ‘big one’
All
rooms have private bathrooms, tea/coffee making facilities, floor fans
and DVD players. In the kitchen / diner there is Sky Free view
television, microwave, toaster, and fridge for our guests use.
Just off the D357 and
only 2 kms from the A81 autoroute, we are very well placed for touring
this beautiful region or for a one night stop while travelling to other
parts of France and Spain. No long winding country lanes to negotiate
after a long journey.
5 minutes away in the
village of Brulon is a bank, supermarket, tabac, chemist, restaurant and
large lake with man made beach and play area for children. You can also
hire push bikes to explore some of the 170 kms of bike trails which
start from here, or canoes and kayaks for a crazy day mucking about on
the river. There is also a restaurant / bar for snacks and drinks and
also a 14 hole crazy golf course. There is certainly something for all.
