Our acommodation consists of three independent apartments
within our own house just outside the small town of la
Souterraine, Creuse, Limousin. We are situated about half an
hour north of Limoges, 3 hours south of Paris and 6-7 hours
from Calais. The facilities are particularly aimed at those
planning a stay of a few days; unlike most self-catering
units, you are not obliged to book a whole week. We have one
double room, one twin room and a suite which can sleep up to
6 or makes a spacious family room.
Each apartment is equipped with microwaves
and basic facilities to allow a limited amount of
self-catering: you won't be able to produce a roast dinner
for twenty, but you should at least be able to rustle up a
sandwich, salad or soup when you don't want a full
restaurant meal. Children and adults are welcome to play or
relax in the large garden with outstanding views. Here,
there is a summer kitchen and barbecue area at your disposal
- perfect for evening socialising.
The letting units have been created as
part of a renovation of an ancient stone creusois building,
formerly a brewery. They are rustic in style, so don't
expect 5-star luxury, but we do everything in our power to
ensure you are comfortable. All our accommodation can only
be accessed via stairs and so is unsuitable for wheelchair
users. All have full central heating and are available
year-round.
