staying somewhere different and unique and a part of
motorbike racing history?
We have Barry Sheene’s ex-race
transporter (between 1980-83 - provenance available),
which we have converted into living accommodation.
The transporter is parked on the edge
of our lake and there is a large awning over the outside
seating area to keep the sun off (or rain if you’re
unlucky!).
There is a barbecue available if
required.
The tail lift of the transporter is
over the lake and has been decked as a seating area. The
box unit is 30ft long and is fully insulated, has uPVC
double-glazed windows, and is fully carpeted. It has
mains water, electricity and drainage.
The accommodation is in a dormitory
style with 3 single beds (an extra single bed can be
added to sleep 4 if required or we can swap a single for
a small double).
There is satellite TV with DVD player
(large section available). There is a small kitchen area
with fridge, gas oven/hob, kettle, microwave, toaster,
etc. We have a large workshop which can be used for bike
parking and any running repairs you may need to carry
out!
Complimentary tea, coffee, beer and
wine.
You can rent the transporter on either
a self-catering or B&B basis.
