Welcoming chambres d'hotes run by an English couple in a
beautiful Neo-Breton house overlooking the charming
market town of Rostrenen. Situated in Central Brittany,
we are in an ideal location for touring, with main roads
radiating in all directions outwards.
Local attractions
include the Nantes-Brest canal, with beautiful
countryside and quiet roads taking you to market towns
and historical sites, lakes and hills, and north, west
and south coasts little over an hour's drive away.
The house has three guest bedrooms
on the first floor all with ensuite faciltiies with
towels, soap, shower gel, shampoo and hairdryer: two
with shower, wash basin and WC and the third with
bath with shower over, wash basin and WC. All rooms
are equipped with tea/coffee making facilities and
plenty of storage space. A range of local tourist
information is provided along with books and board
games and all rooms have free Wi-Fi access.
Bikes can be stored in our large
garage and bikers may access the adjacent laundry room,
usually off-limits to guests, with hot/cold water,
bucket, soap, cloths, hanging and storage space.
Bikers
may also use the washing machine, dryer, iron and
ironing board for a small additional charge (to include
washing tabs and conditioner).
There is also an off-road
space in the garden (lockable gates) for a van or
trailer (subject to width of gates).
A continental-style
breakfast is included in the price, with English
breakfast, packed lunches and evening meals available by
prior request.
2012 Prices are per room per night
and rates vary according to occupancy: e.g. €45 for
one adult, €55 for two adults. Some rooms can
accommodate a third adult and there is a family room
(2 adults + 2 children + cot) - please enquire for
prices.
