Well what can I say Tony even took the time to ride out and meet up
to escort me to ridersrest. On arrival bike stowed in a dry secure
garage, Wendy had a cold beer waiting and a hot meal on the way, now
thats a welcome.
The facilities and accommodation are top notch, everything is catered
for, rides outs led by Tony and Wendy were superb fantastic roads and
places to visit, i had an excellent time thanks to Tony and Wendy, cant
wait to get back

Excellent accommodation - suitable to varying travelling groups. Very
clean, good facilites with a very friendly atmosphere. Tony and Wendy
are happy to show you some of the good roads in the area or happy to let
you do your own thing. It was great and we'll be back

Perfect accommodation for motorcycle tourists, excellent food,
friendly hosts who go well beyond the call of duty if needed, superb
roads locally... I'll be going back as soon as I can, and for a longer
stay next time. It doesn't get better than this.

I stayed at this place recently with some mates in early May and
found it absolutely top notch. The fact that the owners are bikers
themselves is probably why absolutely everything is catered for, and
catered for so very well! I will deffo go again.

It’s obvious from the moment you arrive in the rural idyll of
Traignac that every need you have is likely to be catered for, starting,
of course, with your bikes. Secure, dry accommodation is provided for at
least 15 sets of wheels, once those that want to have washed theirs
clean in the dedicated bike washing area.
Next on the menu is R&R for the riders: we were met straight from the
road each day with the offer of an ice cold beer or a hot mug of tea,
and more of the same (or the other) to follow once that one was empty.
Meals were characteristically generous portions of sound, home cooked
real food, with a choice of deserts. Vegetarians were catered for too.
Riders Rest is spotlessly clean, well appointed and offers mixed types
of accommodation. The double room we stayed in was as romantic a place
as you could wish for, with views out across the hills we’d be riding in
each day. The bunk room was spacious, remarkably fresh (especially
considering the quantity of well-used leatherwear it must have contained
each night) and the bathrooms comfortable, with lots of hot water. A
garden hosted a BBQ but the front garden was the main meeting place,
where bikes could be ogled or mollycoddled according to your whim.
But if you go for nothing else, the roads around this area are any
biker's dream. Near perfect surfaces, sweeping views, exciting twists
and come-drink-here cafes line the routes in almost every direction.
Able hosts, Tony & Wendy are well equipped to provide good route plans
and are a hoot if you can persuade them to get their bikes out too.
We’ll be going back!

I visited Riders Rest with friends in May 08 and left so impressed
we're planning on returning later in the year. The facilites are second
to none, the food and accomodation are simply spot on and the region has
you smiling from one twisty to the next. Tony and Wendy are the perfect
hosts and have thought of pretty much everything. Whether on your own or
in a group they cater for your every need and make you feel relaxed and
able to enjoy the time away from the stress of every day life. Highly
recommended.
