only a mile from the N2. Darley Cottage is approximately 50 miles from
Dublin and 75 miles from Belfast and just 5 minutes from the thriving
market town of Carrickmacross.
The flexible accommodation means Darley
can operate either as a traditional B & B or can be used as a self
catering unit.
There are 3 bedrooms, 2 with double beds and 1 with twin
beds. All rooms have en-suite showers, flat screen TVs and hairdryers.
Two of the rooms have original Victorian Fireplaces. The rooms are
bright as they each have windows to the front of the cottage and also
overlook the rear gardens.
Outside we have a small cottage style
garden to the front with large terraced lawn to the rear. The cows may
peer over the fence and you’re sure to see rabbits running wild across
the back garden.
To the rear there are large terraced lawn areas with
trees surrounding. Behind these gardens and the bank beyond can be seen
the original cottage that was home in the 1800’s to the family that
built Darley in the early 1900’s
There is a gravelled patio area with
garden furniture that lends itself perfectly to afternoon drinks or al
fresco dining.
Driveways on both sides of the cottage provide adequate
parking for 3 cars.
