We are a four diamond graded hotel ideally located on the
promenade of the Island's capital Douglas, adfacent to the
main shopping area and only a few minutes walk from the main
Financial Sector, Ferry Terminal, Gaiety Theatre and Villa
Marina entertainment complex.
If you are visiting the Island for
pleasure, Douglas is the centre for entertainment, sport and
transportation. From Cubbon House, a wide variety of
restaurants, cafes and pubs are available within a short
walk, allowing you the opportunity to dispense with the use
of your car during the evening.
For sightseeing wthout the use of a
vehicle, the horse trams and buses stop right outside our
front door. Also during the summer months you can go
sightseeing by electric tram, steam railway, coach or even
boat.
Should business be the reason for your
visit, the majority of the Island's companiess are located
in Douglas. As Cubbon House is in the centre of town, you
can visit a large number of them on foot.
All rooms are en-suite with tea and coffee
making facilities a hair dryer and colour tv. There are a
selection of single double and twin rooms available.
We have a ladies only fitness centre in
the basement to keep you in shape and burn off those holiday
or business melas. If you have never visited a fitness
centre before, you can book a short Beginners Course. If you
are a regular exerciser then the femail instructors are able
to arrange a temporary membershep to suit your requirements.
As a guest of Cubbon House we have negotiated a significant
discount for you.
We don't have a resident's bar as there is
such a wide variety of pubs in the area, in fact only a few
steps away from Cubbon House. Therefore our guests can sleep
undisturbed by late night revelry on the premises.
We offer a full Manx breakfast or simply
help yourself to cereals, grapefruit or prunes and orange
juice. The choice is yours.
Rates start from only £30 per person per
night on bed and breakfast basis. Special out of season
rates. We are open 52 weeks of the year.
