Upon the green hills between Agropoli and Paestum, in amazing panoramic location, the country estate Casale Torone welcome guests for their unforgettable holiday. The house was built at the end of the 19th century. The owner Mr. Roberto Pisani, who has extravagantly restored the stone main structure with the adjoining guest house Villino Torone, does not enthuse himself about the romantic sunsets for nothing, when the sun disappears in gleaming colours behind the soft hillcrests into the sea.

Perfect place for vacation in sunny peaceful location with unique beautiful view of the Gulf of Salerno, Coast of Amalfi and Capri. The Casale, 110 km from Naples, on the Cilento hill, is an ideal base for visit historical places as Paestum and Padula, the Pertosa Grottoes, Castellabate, the WWF Persano Oasis, the Punta Licosa, Palinuro and other towns and villages of Cilento area, as well Coast of Amalfi, Ravello and Capri. Activities as trekking and mountain biking attract most guests. The nearest sandy beach is in Agropoli and Paestum, and it is reachable in only 10min driving.

The house is in the area of national park of Cilento. The park was officially instituted on December 1991 to protect the territory of Cilento from building speculation and mass tourism. In 1998 it becomes a World Heritage Site of UNESCO, also with the ancient Greek towns of Paestum, Velia and the Padula Charterhouse.

Mr. Roberto will tell you the particular information about places, foods and all secrets of area, in Italian and English language. You too will have chance to taste autochthonic homemade olive oil, wine, cheese and marmalade. Those who set value on healthy locally produced food are quite on the right spot. Mr. Roberto cultivates fruits and vegetables without use of pesticides or chemical fertilizer. He use his "pasta madre" to make bread from natural sourdough grinding with his small mill.

The house is nestled in the midst of hilly garden with paths thought an olive grove and an oak wood, where guests are welcome to stroll and enjoy the natural surroundings.

Casale in pietra della fine '800, situato ad Ogliastro Cilento, a 5 Km dal mare. Completamente ristrutturato, in una tranquilla ed assolata posizione, con una bella vista del Golfo di Salerno, Amalfi e Capri. A soli 110 km da Napoli è una base ideale per visite a Paestum, Padula, Pertosa, Castellabate, Punta Licosa, Acciaroli, Palinuro, ed a tutte le cittadine e villaggi del Parco del Cilento, come pure della Costa d'Amalfi e Ravello. La casa è annidata in mezzo ad un giardino collinare con sentieri che attraversano un uliveto ed un querceto, dove gli ospiti sono invitati a passeggiare ed a godere del paesaggio circostante. Essi hanno anche l'opportunità di assaggiare dell'olio d'oliva, del vino, formaggio ed altri prodotti biologici.
