 We
are the best located motel on the main Paihia waterfront. Park and walk to
all major attractions, historical sites, cafes & restaurants. The wharf,
where all the water based excursions depart, is just across the road. The
village with its shops, hairdresser, Post Office, supermarket etc, is less
than a 2min level stroll. The beach is at our gate! I am an avid
motorcyclist with many years experience on a variety of vehicles - to
ensure you get the most out of your stay,
I am happy to offer advice on a number of short, medium
& longer day rides on good roads, of which there is an amazing abundance
in this area.
Ala-Moana Motel offers spacious Queen or twin 1-bedroom
units with a variety of additional sleeping in the lounge. Each unit has a
bathroom with separate WC, a kitchen, family sized dining area, a spacious
lounge with Sky TV and a small patio with outdoor seating to enjoy the
view of the bay across to Russell.
Our Queen bed Studio units on the main Paihia waterfront
offer stunning floor to ceiling views of the foreshore, across the bay to
Russell and out towards some of the 144 islands that make up the Bay of
Islands. These units have an ensuite bathroom with separate WC, a
kitchenette (hot plates, no oven) dining/lounge area with Sky TV and has a
garden patio with cafe seating, right on the waterfront.
All units are clean, warm, comfortable, quiet & strictly
non-smoking - each unit has a patio with chairs & ashtray for this
purpose. Each unit has it's own designated off-street park, right outside
each unit. Alternatively we also have a secure, locked indoor area,
suitable for motorcycle storage.
