“Los dos tilos” is a spacious modernist family house
that preserves, in the centre of Biar, a peaceful
garden.
This rural household, as a shared
accommodation including breakfasts, has five double
rooms on the first floor. A sitting room, the dining
room for breakfast time, a terrace, balconies, a
room with old casks and the billiard table, the
porch, the quiet garden with little tables, the
swimming pool, table tennis and the pergola. These
areas are places to enjoy and relax.

Biar is an inland town in the
province of Alicante where you can enjoy our
wonderful Mediterranean temperatures, and the
distance from the coast is about forty minutes. Biar
is crowned by a XIIth Century Muslim castle, and it
has been for ages a strategic place as a frontier.
If you have a walk, you will have the opportunity to
visit its gothic chapels, The Ethnographic Museum,
the parish church or the very well known “Paseo del
Plátano”.
The location of this town is ideal
to visit many other places in the Alto Vinalopó as
it is, especially, the well known Route of the
Castles; this route includes among others Villena,
Castalla and Sax fortresses. Nearly half of its
borough area is a forest area, so you can find all
kinds of medicinal and aromatic plants. Likewise,
there are many paths and tracks to walk, or discover
by bike.

una amplia casa familiar de estilo modernista, que
conserva, en el centro de Biar, un tranquilo jardín.
En régimen de alojamiento
compartido y con desayuno incluido cuenta con cinco
habitaciones dobles con baños individuales situadas
en la primera planta. Una sala de estar, el comedor
para los desayunos, el billar, la terraza y el
porche, así como el jardín con sus mesitas, la
piscina, la mesa de ping-pong y el cenador, se
configuran como espacios para disfrutar y relajarse.
Desde Los dos tilos podrá saborear, con sólo
franquear la puerta, todos los encantos de la villa
de Biar. Pasear por sus calles camino al castillo de
origen musulmán, visitar las numerosas ermitas
góticas, el Museo Etnográfico, la iglesia parroquial
del s.XV, con su portada plateresca, o el popular
Paseo del Plátano.
Su localización hace de Biar
también lugar idóneo para descubrir la zona del Alto
Vinalopó, especialmente la llamada Ruta de los
Castillos, que abarca las fortalezas de Villena,
Castalla y Sax entre otros. Casi la mitad de su
término municipal es zona forestal donde se pueden
encontrar todo tipo de plantas medicinales y
aromáticas, así como caminos y parajes ideales para
realizar excursiones a pie o en bicicleta.
