Set in the centre of this market town is the Best Western Lairgate Hotel.

We pride ourselves on the considerable character of the Lairgate; as we do on the friendly atmosphere of the hotel. Recently enhanced by major refurbishment and extension work it has one of the grandest Georgian entrance halls in East Yorkshire, and now boasts a fine restaurant - The Bechstein.

The ambience of this softly lit air-conditioned setting is super. A secluded patio area at the rear of the hotel provides an ideal suntrap weather permitting!
