This peaceful ground level cosy comfortable cottage has
stunning panoramic views and magnificent sunsets seen from
the lounge/front patio area. New Cottage is open all year
round, has been awarded a 3 star rating by the English
Tourism Council.
This well presented single storey
property, with good standards of exterior maintenance has
ample car parking and good exterior lighting. There is a
small front patio area providing an attractive seating
area using an old church pew and smart wooden patio
furniture. A good rural environment situated in an
elevated position surrounded by beautiful views. Lots of
guest information is also available.
New Cottage is situated on a working
farm and has been described by guests as a delightful
little cottage in a very peaceful location. The
accommodation is very cosy and comfortable and all on one
level – there are no stairs. The panoramic views from the
lounge are a never-ending source of delight – they are
stunning, and made even more beautiful in the winter when
there is a light dusting of snow.
The cottage is also so accessible for
country walks and sightseeing, and being able to start
walks from the cottage is a real bonus. And the sunsets
are truly magnificent. These comments have been referred
to and written about by guests when completing the
registration book. New Cottage has a lounge/kitchen,
[there is good space to dine, lounge and cook in comfort];
a bedroom with double bed [a cot and/or airbed can be
provided]; a spacious shower room with good ease of use
having been taken into consideration, plus a permanent
wall-mounted shower seat. These rooms lead off from a
small hallway that has hanging space for cloaks. Towels,
linen, electricity and heating are all included in the
price of £30 per night for the cottage. Excellent
pub/restaurant food nearby.
