Orchard Garden apartment is part
of a large old farmhouse situated at the top of a
tree lined driveway 75 meters off the road. The
house is situated at the end of the Polden Hills in
an ideal location to just relax or to get out there
onto the Mendips, down onto the Somerset Levels or
to tour Exmoor or beyond.
Orchard garden apartment is self
contained and has a private garden in part of an old
orchard with fruit trees and friendly chickens who
offer the freshest eggs for breakfast.
The house is situated on a piece
of high ground and although on the first floor of
the house, the accommodation is approached at ground
level. The living room has an open plan kitchen area
including electric hob, fridge and microwave where
you can cook up some food whilst keeping up your
conversation, watch TV or DVDs, listen to the radio
or catch up with your emails (Wifi connection
available) Tea towels and kitchen basics are
included and a welcome pack including tea, coffee,
milk, bread and eggs from our own chickens will be
waiting for you so you can arrive and eat at home if
you want to.
There is a sofa bed in the lounge
as well, so although the apartment generally sleeps
two, it is possible for up to two more people to be
accommodated by arrangement. The shower room has an
electric power shower, sink and loo.
There is a washing machine too,
handy if you don’t want to carry much luggage with
you. Towels and locally made soap will be included.
