Gale Green Cottage is
situated between Ingleton and Kirkby Lonsdale in the
beautiful Yorkshire Dales. Set in over five acres of
glorious countryside the garden is home to wildlife such as
buzzards, heron and dippers.
Originally the cottage was built in
1771, the cottage has recently been refurbished and extended
to offer comfortable and spacious accommodation. The guest
lounge with its original oak beams and inglenook fireplace
provides a relaxing retreat in the evening. The B&B has
recently been given four diamond rating by the AA.
The bedrooms, two double and one twin
have modern en-suite facilities with colour TV and
hospitality tray.
There is ample off road parking and
secure parking if necessary.
Ingleton is one of England's natural
beauty spots and has everything to offer from gental
woodland walks to the spectacular waterfalls and the popular
white scar caves.
Kirkby Lonsdale has the well known
BIKER meeting place at Devils bridge where on a weekend up
to 200 bikers meet. There is also the the river bank walk to
Ruskins view, and the village has plenty of pubs and
eateries.
Also within easy reach is the Lake
district and the Trough of Bowland both made for excellent
motorbike riding.
Both Jill and Glenn have ridden motor
bikes in the past and Jill was an instructor for a sort
while.
