The Georgian
Guest House forms one section of a listed II Georgian
terraced block. The Guest House has two standard single
rooms,one standard and two ensuite twin rooms, three ensuite
family rooms(one double and one single bed) and one triple
room(single beds)with shower.We charge by the person. The
standard rooms cost £16.50 per person B & B per night. All
rooms with showers cost £18.00 B & B per person per night
two sharing. If the family ensuite rooms,twin ensuite rooms
and triple are let as a single the B & B charge is £22.50
per night. A full cooked breakfast between 7.00 and 9.00
a.m. is included in the nightly charge The guest house has a
secure yard at the rear which would take at least 8
motorbikes. There is also roofed secure accomodation for a
number of panniers or other luggage. The guest house is only
six minutes walk from the Docks,a tourist attraction,and
some twenty minutes brisk walk or five minutes drive from
the pedestrianised section of the City centre. The centres
of the south half of the Cotswolds and the Royal Forest of
Dean are some 25 minutes drive away. There are three Indian
restaurants, one Chinesse restaurant and three pubs serving
food within 400 metres of the guest house + numerous 'take
aways' and a fish and chip shop within 600 metres.
We seem to be quite popular so bookings
between October and May are likely to be the most successful
especially at weekends. Please note we do not accept credit
cards but there is a Lloyds Bank with two 24 hour cash
machines immediately opposite us.
