Ash House is a former mill owner's residence overlooking fields and hills on the edge of Holmfirth but just ten minutes' walk from shops, cafes and restaurants in the middle of the famous Summer Wine town.

The house has ample off road parking and motorcycles can be parked discreetly or even in our garage by arrangement (we may have to move our own bikes and classic cars around to accommodate this!.

Breakfasts are cooked in an AGA using top quality produce from local farms. Vegetarian breakfast is also offered. For lunches and evening meals we can recommend several excellent restaurants and cafes in the town.

Accommodation is in the form of a generous three room suite in an extension to the main property and a twin room in the main house. The suite comprises a large double bedroom with sitting area, en-suite shower room and a private lounge/dining room.

The lounge has two leather sofas and is home to a selection of vintage toys and games and an extensive library of car and motorcycle books!

The suite is ideal for relaxing in the evening and as a daytime base for visitors staying for a few days. Our twin room has an en-suite toilet and bathroom. Guests in the twin room are served breakfast in the main house dining room. Both rooms have tea and coffee making facilities and are equipped with flat screen TVs with Freesat and have WiFi access.

Set in spectacular Pennine countryside, Holmfirth is a vibrant town with plenty of places to eat and drink and lots of things to do.

Motorcyclists are welcome and as one of is a lifelong biker, we are perfectly happy to lend you tools and bike washing facilities and to help dry or wash your soggy gear!
