Bracarina House was purpose built by the current owners,
Sheila and Simon MacLellan, to provide spacious bed and
breakfast accommodation. All bedrooms have either ensuite
shower or bath rooms and are comfortably furnished. A
residents' lounge with television, open fire and great views
is situated on the first floor. This year we have added a
sauna room, which is available for private hire and is great
way to relax after a long bike ride. A drying room is also
available for when you have been caught in the rain.
Bracarina House is in the
centre of the small village of Invermoriston, next door to
the village pub, right in the centre of the Highlands -
great biking country!!
In the evening when the
guests are booked in and the roads are quieter, we'll often
head off to Kyle (54 miles each way)just to buy a bag of
chips or we'll say to the kids "we're off round the block"
then ride round Loch Ness.
Sheila often laments that
we do not get enough motor cyclists staying with us, she is
fed up with walkers, cyclists and car drivers - "the
conversation's always the same - boring!!"
