Owners Wayne and Sue Leggett guarantee a warm welcome to
visitors of our family run business.
Damerons Farm is located on the outskirts
of the small village of Henley, only ten minutes North of
Suffolk’s County town of Ipswich and ten minutes from the
main A14 Midlands link road. We enjoy a secluded spot at the
end of a farm driveway and our location in the Heart of
Suffolk is an ideal base from which to discover the many
sights and activities Suffolk has to offer.
Stansted Airport; is only 53 miles away
and Harwich 36; this puts us within easy striking distance
of visitors from overseas.
Our accommodation of five cottages has
been tastefully created from an old granary and milking
parlour and combines comfort with the luxuries expected for
modern living. We look forward to meeting all our guests and
provide visitors staying a week or more with a welcome pack
of local produce, such as Swiss Farm sweet cured bacon,
James White apple juice, milk, free range eggs and locally
baked bread.
Each cottage has its own paved patio area,
well-equipped fitted kitchens with dishwashers (except The
Hayloft), DVD players and flat screen TVs. Individually
controlled heating and hot water systems are included in the
price, together with bedlinen and towels. Our grass
play/picnic area is an ideal place to relax while the
children use up their excess energy. We also have a games
room with pool and table football.
The Hayloft, (sleeping up to 2 people), is
a single storey, first floor studio apartment, with
panoramic views of old established meadows grazed by our
horses and Jacob sheep. Observe the several breeds of
wildfowl, such as Canada geese, herons, mallard and
cormorants that regularly visit our large pond.
Attractions such as Heritage Coast,
Constable Country, the many museums and art galleries,
farmers markets, National Trust houses and gardens, nature
reserves, wildlife parks and zoos are all less than an
hour’s drive away.
Living on site gives us the flexibility to
accommodate our guests requirements for differing arrival
times and we endeavour to meet and greet all our visitors
whatever the time of day (or night!)
