Beautifully converted farm steadings, providing a quality
B&B. Set in 2 acres of garden. 5m. from the border The
Steadings is ideally located as a stopover to or from
Scotland.
Ample private parking is available and
bikes can be garaged if required. Room for hanging
waterproofs/leathers etc.
All our bedrooms are of a high standard
with en-suite bath or shower rooms and views of the stunning
Borders hills. One twin room is on the ground floor and has
an en-suite shower room. Guest controlled central heating,
tea making facilities and TVs in all rooms.
A large separate guest sitting room with
log burning stove opens out onto a large patio with access
to the mature garden grounds where guests can sit and
children are welcome to play. DVDs, games, books, local maps
are all in the sitting room. A wide choice of breakfast
including a full Scottish is served in the dining room and
special diets can be catered for by arrangement.
he Steadings B&B is the perfect place for
a quiet relaxing break in the country, whilst only just over
an hour away is Edinburgh, Carlisle and Newcastle .We are
well placed for visiting the Border towns of Jedburgh (7
miles), Hawick (10 miles), Kelso, Selkirk, and Melrose as
well as Northumberland with Hadrian's wall, Kielder Water
and Forest and the towns of Hexham, Alnwick and Corbridge.
Also available is a spacious self catering
cottage (converted granary) sleeping four people, where pets
are welcome.
