If you are looking for peaceful
self-catering holiday cottages, surrounded by walks,
wildlife and wonderful views over the Tweed Valley
to The Cheviot Hills in Northumberland - Hendersyde
might just be the place for you!
The
three simple, four star holidays cottages, stand at
the end of their own lane, in the middle of our
family farm. Just five minutes downstream from the
delightful market town of Kelso in the heart of the
Scottish Borders.
Clean, comfortable and well
equipped, with central heating and cosy sitting room
fires; each cottage sleeps up to 4 people, in a twin
and double bed room. (Discounts for couples, if only
one of the bed rooms is used.)
There is plenty of space for
private parking, or bikes can be kept under-cover,
and room for hanging waterproofs/leathers. Broadband
internet access is included - delicious suppers can
be delivered too!
There is so much to see and do in
the largely undiscovered Scottish Borders!
Kelso has to be one of Scotland's most attractive
country towns! Standing at the junction of the
rivers Tweed and Teviot, the cobbled market square
is surrounded by a great selection local shops,
galleries, places to eat and river side walks.
There's always a buzz about the town with events at
The Border Union Show Ground, Floors Castle and
Kelso National Hunt Race Course. You can ride quiet
country roads discovering the Border country from
the stunning Berwickshire and Northumberland coast
to the Border Hills. The space, light and views will
take your breath away!
Feel the history of castles, abbeys and great
houses. See gardens at Dawyck and Kailzie. Ride over
the border to Alnwick Castle and Gardens, or up to
Edinburgh an hour away.
