Keswick and Ullswater only 10 minutes away, Lane Head Farmhouse is great
base for touring the Lake District and/or the Eden Valley.
There are 7
en-suite room; 4 doubles, 1 twin and 2 four poster double en-suite rooms
(one double room and the twin room are en-suite with a bath and shower
over the bath), each sleeping 2 people.
All rooms have flat screen
digital FreeView TVs, iPod docking radio alarm clocks, tea and coffee
making facilities, complimentary mineral water on arrival, hairdryers
and complimentary Duck Island toiletries.
Relax after a hard days ride
in the comfortable guest lounge. On request we can provide ironing
facilities, somewhere to dry we clothing and boots, somewhere to store
panniers, tank and saddle bags, and a bucket, sponge and soapy water.
Possibly most importantly, our nearest pub is a mile walk away (15
minutes walk at most - don't forget to bring a torch). A slightly longer
walk or short drive and there are numerous pubs to choose from (all
within 5 minutes drive and some within 30 minutes walk).
