We are on the A6 about 1.5 miles south of Matlock, half an hour's
ride from Darley Moor and one hour's ride to Donington. With four
spacious en-suite rooms we can accommodate a party of up to 11 adults.
Private off-road parking; bikes can be stored securely in the back-yard.
All rooms have wi-fi, TV, kettle and hairdryer. We offer an
award-winning breakfast with a wide choice of food, using local organic
produce when possible. Special diets can be catered for. There is a no
smoking policy in the house, but there is outside seating.
Matlock Bath
is a traditional bikers' meeting point, especially on sunny days.
Within
walking distance are Gulliver's Kingdom (children's theme park), cable
cars to The Heights of Abraham, the Mining Museum, the Museum and
Aquarium with the petrifying well,an assortment of pubs and restaurants
with regular live music, an informal riverside park with walks by the
river and up the hillsides to extensive views. A short distance away are
Carsington Water, cycling trails, Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Crich
Tram Museum, beautiful dales countryside and pretty towns and villages.
