Driftwood Bed and Breakfast is in the famous tiny hamlet
village of Pennan, famous for the film "Local Hero". Nestled
below cliffs right in front of the sea, its a very tranquil
and peaceful place.
We have a double en-suite room with spa
bath and shower, digital tv four poster bed,tea and coffee
making facilities and sea views.
We also have a self catering cottage with
a double bedroon en-suite, its an old fishermens cottage and
is newly renovated, we also do bed and breakfast in this
cottage.
We serve a good scottish breakfsat that
will set you up for the day, or if you prefer something
lighter that is no problem.
Pennan is an ideal base to tour the
beautiful coastal villages and the whiskey trail. There is
an abundance of wild life and birds,dolphins and seals are
often seen in the bay.
There is a hotel in the village " The
Pennan Inn" that serves wonderful food. Also another hotel
approx 4 miles again with a mouthwatering menu, and another
small restaurant 1 mile away, that serve lovely local caught
seafood.
