 An enchanting Grade 11 Listed "Folly" set in the
magnificent grounds of Greystoke Castle, and within easy
reach of the M6.
Traditionaly furnished to a high
standard while still retaining its original oak beams,
bags of character and comfortble charm.
There are two Double Rooms, (one of
which is En-Suite) and a Twin Room. A warm and friendly
welcome awaits all of our guests as does a full and hearty
English style breakfast sourced from excellent local
produce.
 There is also "Hostel" type
accommodation available at Stafford House. The two newly
converted lodges sleep 15 people in total, and have fully
fitted kitchens and wetrooms with wc.
Included in the price is all bed linnen
and towels, along with tea, coffee, sugar, milk,
cereals,fruit juice, bread, butter and jams.

Claire and Chris, (both bikers), invite you to the Rebels
Hide.
We are situated in the historic village of Clifton (scene of
the last battle on English soil in 1745, preceeding the Jacobite
sluaghter at Culloden some months later) see web site for further
information. Within staggering distance of the George & Dragon
historic Inn (renowned for great food, ale and wines).
Bed and
breakfast, self catering (en suite and non en suite available), bunk
house accommodation and camping are all available
TV-DVD, Wi-Fi, tea
making facilities. Best of ingredients used for breakfasts.
Access
to the four star North Lakes Hotel leisure club available for
swimming, gym, sauna, steam room and beauty treatments. Award
winning Inn just around the corner for meals and drinks.

located as a base for touring the English Lake District and we are
only five minutes from lake Ullswater, possibly the finest of the

Howscales Cottages sits in open tranquil countryside around a
cobbled courtyard and surrounded by gardens and open views.
Just 12 miles from the M6 and a couple of miles
from the A686 which the AA voted one of the best drives in the
country.
Comfortable accommodation in character cottages
with well equipped kitchens.
Linen and towels provided, welcome tea tray and
toiletries too. Seperate laundry area with washer and dryer and
outdoor drying facilities.
