Poplars
of Pitlochry is a large Victorian house set in peaceful
grounds with magnificent views over the Tummel Valley to the
south and towards Ben-y-Vraikie to the north, yet only a
short stroll takes you into the bustling town centre.
The house itself retains
many of its original Victorian features. All rooms have
superb views, are freshly decorated, spacious and centrally
heated with their own en suite shower rooms.
Pitlochry is the perfect
holiday centre to enjoy hillwalking, cycling, golf, fishing
or curling and nearby are many fine restaurants. Visit the
Salmon Ladder on the Tummel River and the famous Pitlochry
Theatre which enjoys an all year programme for theatre
visits and varied workshops. Local attractions also include,
a ten minute drive away, the famous Queen's View, Blair
Atholl Castle and not to mention "The Harrods of Scotland" -
The House of Bruar - for the keen shopper!
Poplars of Pitlochry is
an ideal base to tour the Highlands of Scotland enjoying a
day away to Glenshee, Balmoral Castle, Loch Ness, Glencoe or
even the capital, Edinburgh. Before setting off for the day,
we hope you will enjoy a full Scottish or Continental
breakfast.
Janice and Gerry Tait
look forward to making your visit to Pitlochry both special
and memorable.
