Set in the heart of Galloway, The Bladnoch
Inn is ideally situated for a variety of country pursuits.
FISHING - We own one of the best beats for
salmon/trout fishing on the river Bladnoch. As it is a spate
river it fishes best after a good fall of rain.
SHOOTING - Rough shooting, wildfowling and
deer stalking can be arranged with our guide, Derek Brown.
The spectacular scenery of South West Scotland offers some
of the finest pheasant shooting as well as Red and Roe deer.
Other popular activities include hill walking, bird
watching, tank driving & clay pigeon shooting.
The village of Bladnoch is just one mile
from Wigtown, Scotlands National Book Town and is situated
directly opposite The Bladnoch Ditillery.
