Registered as a Kentucky Landmark and located below the
massive Lake Cumberland in Southern Kentucky,the Fairchild
House was designed by the architectural firm of Barber and
Kluttz of Knoxville, Tn in 1905. Using the finest materials
available, W.F. Fairchild had this low Queen Anne victorian
house built in 1906, and today the house features all of the
original woodwork, 7 fireplaces, a wrap-around porch, and
original popular floors.
Fairchild's accommodations consist of 3
bedrooms for single/double occupancy, all with a private bath.
Joyce's room has a king bed and a private bath with
tub/shower. Carolyn's room features a queen bed, and a private
bath featuring a claw-foot tub/shower. Grace's room features a
full iron bed, and a private bath with stand-up shower. A full
breakfast and all taxes and fees is included with you room.
The rate for a Single/Double occupancy for
any room is $115.00, however we run specials through-out the

We accept cash, personal checks, (10 days in advance) and all
major credit cards.
Fairchild's Bed & Breakfst is a member of
the Bed and Breakfast Association of Kentucky (BBAK
www.kentuckybb.com)and a member of the Monticello-Wyne County
Chamber of Commerce.
Fairchild's B & B is within a 45 minute
drive of Cumberland Falls, (site of one of two moonbows in the
world)8 miles from the 3rd largest man-made lake east of the
Mississippi, and minutes from the site of the Civil War
battlefield of Mill Springs. We are within a 3 hour drive to
Gatlinburg, Tenn., Cincinnati, Oh, Louisville, Ky and
Nashville, Tenn.
