Our New Orleans B&B is your home in the city's historic
Faubourg Marigny. Utne magazine ranked our neighborhood as
one of the hippest in America. Diverse and somewhat
bohemian, our neighborhood is the real New Orleans, with a
rich history and filled with a rich mix of people from all
income levels and from all walks of life, black and white,
gay and straight, accountants and artists, maids and
musicians.
The architecture is an eclectic collection
of everything from very modest shotgun houses to beautifully
restored Creole cottages.
The house that Tennessee Williams used as
a model for Stella and Stanley's home in Street Car Named
Desire is just a few blocks away.
Our own 175 year-old home has been
transformed into a live-in work of art with handpainted wall
treatments in each room.
Our better-known neighbor, the French
Quarter, is a fifteen minute stroll or three-minute cab ride
away.
