This Historic Tamarack Lodge (built in 1907 and now open
year round), Bed and Breakfast, Private Cabins and unit
cabins (all facilities updated in 2003) are conveniently
located in the heart of Flathead Canyon. Known for it's
outstanding hospitality, huge continental breakfast and
great rates, the Historic Tamarack Lodge resort facility is
situated in a spectacular mountain valley in the midst of
the Montana Rockies, surrounded by the Flathead National
Forest.
Located only 5-6 minutes from the entrance
to Glacier National Park, 30 minutes from Whitefish Ski Area
and 25 minutes from Kalispell. The Flathead River (with its
blue-ribbon trout fishing) is across the road and Flathead
Lake is a short, scenic drive south. Big Sky Waterslide is
just 4 miles away, plus dining, shopping, golfing and
entertainment are all nearby. Biker friendly location with a
great area to tour.
