Located in the heart of Maggie Valley, North Carolina in the Great Smoky Mountains and convenient to the Blue Ridge Parkway, Asheville, Gatlinburg and Cherokee this is a one of a kind vacation rental. We offer easy access for motorcycles and their guests. We are located on the valley floor with paved streets and covered parking for up to 6-8 bikes. We are a safe location as well. Welcoming guests upon their arrival to the Ferguson House is a soothing water fall, open fire pit, bubbling hot tub, and beautiful landscaping. Once inside the house you will be greeted with a bottle of wine from the local North Carolina winery, The Biltmore Estate in the spring and summer months or a package of pancake mix from the famous Joey’s Pancake House in the fall and winter months. This 1949 house was once home to the local milk man and his family, the Ferguson’s. The interior has retained it’s “cabin” like feel with knotty-pine walls and hard wood floors. This home has been meticulously updated with every modern convenience and is spotless in cleanliness. The Ferguson House will comfortably sleep 9 -11 people. It includes 4-bedrooms with 3 queen beds, 1 double and one single bunk-bed set and a queen futon. It has 2-full tub/shower bathrooms. Amenities include; wireless internet, big-screen TV with cable and DVD/VCR, a closet full of movies, games and books, a full-kitchen/hearth room with a gas log stove, a laundry and work-out area is located in the basement. We offer a covered front porch with rocking chairs and a sun room to take in the beauty of the surrounding mountains and landscape while listening to the sounds of the nearby water fall. The large paver patio provides seating for up to 10 guests at tables and other seating areas for more around the fire pit. The house includes all bed linens, bath towels and hot tub towels. Blow dryers and a sample of soap and shampoo are included with each bathroom as well as two rolls of toilet paper each. We also include bathrobes for up to 9 guests. The kitchen pantry includes salt & pepper, a roll of paper towels, trash bags, coffee filters and a few basic spices and rubs. There is a gas grill and the propane is included. Fall and winter in Maggie Valley and near by Waynesville give you ample opportunities for viewing fall colors, festivals and local art and craft shows. In the winter the Cataloochee Ski Resort and Tube World open for fun times on the slopes or winter tubing. Spring and summer bring the best motorcycle riding in the country which includes the infamous Tail of the Dragon (Deal's Gap), long, leisurely rides along the Blue Ridge Parkway or to the Great Smoky Mountains to view the Elk and other wildlife. If golfing is your game the Maggie Valley Country Club is just around the corner as well as many other fine courses near by.
