Linden is a beautiful, historic home located very
close to the terminus of the Natchez Trace.
There are 6 guest rooms available. A full breakfast is included, and is served in our formal dining room. We have a gallery
in back that surrounds a private courtyard. Guests enjoy their morning coffee here, and frequently have informal
evening gatherings. The gallery and courtyard also make a fine wedding or reception venue.
The Feltus family has owned Linden (circa 1790)since its early days. The home has been written about in numerous national magazines.
In fact, the beauty of Linden is so well known that the front door was copied for "Tara" in Gone With The Wind.
A tour of this historic mansion is also included with a night's stay.
Room rates range from $125 to $140/night, double occupancy. Besides being the start of the Natchez
Trace, our town is home to a large number of antebellum homes, which can be toured daily.
Shopping is very popular here, especially for antiques. There are plenty
of restaurants and night spots, plus outdoor venues like St. Catherine Creek Wildlife Refuge - think eagles and
alligators! And of course, there's a panoramic view of the Mississippi River from atop our 150-foot high Natchez bluff.
